Shake Down Your Boss

Tough Guy Book Club is a charity and we want you to know that book club will always be free to attend. We want to continue growing this club to reach more guys across Australia and the world, and that takes money. But we don't want to ask our Goons to dig into their own pockets.

So how do we do a fundraising drive without asking Goons to donate? We ask the Goons to shake down their bosses! 

As we get to the end of the financial year, companies of all sizes love to donate a bit of money here and there. It makes them look good and helps them lower their tax obligation. So now is the perfect time to ask your boss for a tax deductible donation to Tough Guy Book Club. 

What can you do to help? 

• If you have an easy relationship with your boss, talk to them about their corporate giving plans for the end of financial year. Suggest they give some money to Tough Guy Book Club. 
• If it’s easier for you to send an email, we have two email templates for you to use. One works for a more corporate and formal office environment and one works well for a more casual office.
