Tough Guy Book Club is free to come to, and it always will be, but like all things in this wretched world, this club costs money to run and help grow our movement. Every challenge coin, Zoom meeting, officer training, special event, insurance requirement, poster, Facebook ad, month of website hosting, and everything else has a dollar amount attached to it. And those things are how we build and grow our awesome weird club and find more men to join us in reading and talking and hanging out. So how do we make all that work? BBQs.
Doing a charity BBQ, like the ones at Bunnings or Lowes, does two very important things for Tough Guy Book Club: 1, it raises funds for this club so we keep doing our important and fun work, and 2, it gives you an opportunity to recruit new goons for you Chapter, let’s face it, guys hanging out the front of hardware shops is pretty much our market.
Charity BBQs aren’t that hard, but they need coordination and local know-how, which means they need someone to lead them, and we are looking for someone to be that man in your town. Don’t worry you won't be alone in this; we have a BBQ Captain called Anish to help you sort it all out.
If you’re the guy who steps up to run the BBQ Fundraiser in your town, then to reward your effort, you’ll receive the TGBC BBQ Burner Poker Chip. The chip is the same size as the TGBC Challenge Coins and is designed to look good sitting right next to them.
To register to lead a TGBC Charity BBQ and receive your TGBC BBQ Burner Poker Chip sign up here and we'll get back to you with information and support.
